Register New Students at SMCDSB

register new studentsWe are excited to welcome new families to the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board!

Registration is currently open for the 2019-20 school year. Families wishing to register for the 2020-21 school year will be able to do so beginning January 2020. Please note that the online registration application will not accept early registrations.

All new students to the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board must submit a registration package to the school they wish to attend.

We invite parents/guardians of new students to SMCDSB to complete your child's registration online using our Online Student Registration Application. This online application cannot be used for former students or for students already registered at an SMCDSB school. Please note that you will still need to bring required documentation to the school to complete registration once schools are re-opened and physical distancing rules have been relaxed.

For those unable to apply online, please complete our Universal Student Registration Form (fillable PDF format). Please note you need to download the form first and open with Adobe. During school closures, all registrants completing the Universal Student Registration (fillable PDF) should save their completed application and email it to [email protected] and it will be forwarded to the appropriate school for review.

We will also require additional information and documentation to complete the registration process. You can find a list of required documents below. We have also provided answers to other frequently asked questions.
