Holy Cross Gardening Club

A few weeks ago, Ms. Balon and Ms. Dwyer of Holy Cross Catholic School in Innisfil started the Holy Cross Gardening Club. They were thrilled to have over 50 students eagerly participate and clean up the gardens at the school. Weeds were removed and gardens were replenished with fresh soil generously donated by Kell's Garden City of Innisfil.

The end of the year project was to plant the Canadian Flag in flowers to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday! Students from all Flower Flagdivisions came together to draw and plan out the flag - it took over 300 flowers to build the beautiful Canadian Flag at the front of the school.

A big thank you goes to the students at Holy Cross C.S. and their commitment to beautifying the outside of their school and for showing that they are true stewards of the earth.
