The Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC) is conducting an inquiry into human rights issues that affect students with reading disabilities across Ontario’s public education system. The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board was randomly selected along with seven other Ontario school boards, to assess our compliance with the obligation to provide equal treatment to students with reading disabilities. 


As part of the inquiry, students, parents and educators are asked to provide their feedback about their experience with reading disabilities in public schools.
