Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we are celebrating Janet Carswell, a school
office administrator at Monsignor Michael O’Leary Catholic School. Janet was nominated by a parent, who said:
“Both my children graduated from this elementary school (Monsignor Michael O'Leary Catholic School). Janet has been the backbone of the school and with her smiley face and positive attitude every day, she was such a help to all children, staff and parents alike. We love to wish her only the best on her retirement! God Bless!”
This week we are also celebrating Martin Toda, a DECE at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School. Martin was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Mr. Toda is consistently kind, patient and joyful. He greets the students and parents each day with his friendly and fun demeanor. He invests much with each student and has their best interests always in mind. He brings the joy of his guitar skills to the class which makes the children smile and sing. I pray his job of leading, teaching and caring for the children in his faithful and exceptional way will yield great fruit for the Lord as these children see his faith in action.
