Grade 4 student wins button design contest: "Smile, it's Winter"

Jacob, a Grade 4 student at Monsignor Lee School Catholic School in Orillia, has won the button design contest for the 2016 Orillia Winter Carnival!
Jacob's design was one of hundreds that were submitted to the Carnival Committee. The committee surprised Jacob at the school spirit assembly, announcing that his button message, "Smile, it's Winter" will be the tag line for the entire weekend Feb 12th - 14th.
Jacob will receive admission to the event for his family and a helicopter ride!
