Once again this year, students and staff will join Canada in celebrating Black History Month by honouring the legacy of Black Canadians, past and present.

This year's theme is Black Canadian Youth: Boundless, Rooted and Proud.

Schools will take this time to celebrate the many achievements and contributions of black Canadians who throughout history, have made Canada the culturally diverse, compassionate and prosperous nation it is today.
