Celebrate our Broader Community During CEW

Celebrate our Trustees, Parents, Volunteers, Bus Drivers and Community Members

This year’s theme for Catholic Education week is Living as Joyful Disciples.  We will be joining with every other Catholic school in every Catholic School Board in Ontario to remember our own individual and collective commitments to Catholic education.

Catholic Education Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize how fortunate we are to share in the gift of Catholic education. It is also the perfect time to recognize everyone in our school communities who work together to share in the faith and learning journey of our students and staff.

So many of our accomplishments are only possible because of the tireless support and dedication of our broader school community -- those who assist us in so many ways -- from the Board of Trustees who provide governance and leadership, to the members of our SEAC and CPIC who provide sage advice, to our Catholic School Community Councils who dedicate so much of themselves to our school communities, to our bus drivers who keep our precious cargo safe each and every day, to our Volunteers who help out in so many ways each and every day.

A school and a school board can only thrive with the support of its larger community -- and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for what you do to make Catholic education in Simcoe Muskoka the very best it can be. Your guidance, your support, and your tireless dedication to Catholic education in our schools, throughout our board, and across the province are all so appreciated.

God bless each of you for the work you do each and every day.
