You don’t want to miss this.... Diverse Voices Unite!

St. Peter's Catholic Secondary School in Barrie is once again organizing "Diverse Voices Unite." This is a collaborative project that brings together different people, cultures, experiences, and opinions.

The virtual event will include community partners, prominent guest speakers and students. Pre-recorded video clips will be combined and shared on the school’s YouTube channel to celebrate Black History Month.

The video will air on February 21 at 12 p.m. and again on Rogers TV on February 23 at 7 p.m., followed by a live Q/A with guest speakers.

St. Peter’s teacher Manon Heran has organized Black History Month activities at the school for many years.

Ms. Heran says, “I am working with a passionate team of students and I am so proud of them. We’re thankful that the City of Barrie and Rogers TV is sponsoring the event again. Our hope, of course, is that we can return to a live and in-person event in 2023.”

Viewers can watch the event on the St. Peter’s YouTube Channel.
