MARCH 7, 2022 - BARRIE, ON: Staff and students at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board are celebrating the launch of a new strategic plan. With a new mission statement, vision and priorities in place, staff are excited to embrace a fresh start. The strategic plan will guide the organization, as employees make business decisions and plan for the future.
Director of Education, Frances Bagley, is enthusiastic about the board’s new strategic plan. “The strategic plan sets the direction of the board and provides a common framework for everyone as we move forward with our priorities and goals. In the next few years, we will refer to our strategic plan often. It will influence every facet of our business.”
The board’s new mission statement acts as a compass for the goals of the school board.

The vision is also new and incredibly simple. It tells everyone why we exist and who we are.

Bringing the strategic plan to life is a new logo that will become a common sight as the plan is launched in all 50 schools and in central board locations.
